Parents and Students of Ranger ISD:
As the new principal of Ranger ISD, I hope that students are staying productively busy and finding some time to unwind. With this in mind, school is about a month and a half away, so I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and provide some basic information.
My name is Stephen Simecek. I grew up in Moody, Texas, graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and was a teacher and administrator in Copperas Cove ISD for a total of 22 years. I am looking forward to the opportunity to lead the students and staff of Ranger ISD. It is my duty to ensure that our kids have a safe environment to receive a great education. I believe that all of us, staff, students, parents, myself included, are personally accountable to do what is necessary to help our students be successful while in school, in order to set them up for success after graduation.
There are some ongoing renovations on campus that will continue throughout the summer. These will be completed by the first day of school, August 17. In addition to facilities upgrades, we will change some procedures. As these are finalized, we will inform parents and students of the changes through our Facebook pages.
Thank You, and GO BULLDOGS!!!
